    Margaret Mee died in car accident in England shortly after this interview was published, a few days after the publication of her book, In Search of Flowers of the Amazon Forests (). A further selection of her work, now owned by the botanical gardens at Kew, was ?article=margaret-mee-and-the-moonflower.
